Soultribe Music proudly presents Transition, the latest collaboration from Miss Medik & Drumma, featuring the evocative vocals of FJ. Set for release on 29 January, the track blends emotional depth with forward-driving jungle energy. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Chase & Status , particularly their first album with tracks like “take me away” , and also high contrast and tracks like “if we ever” .
Miss Medik & Drumma are no strangers to working together, having previously collaborated on a number of releases that showcase their shared love for deep, rolling rhythms and soulful atmospheres. Their chemistry is evident here, with crisp breakbeats, warm basslines and a polished yet raw sound that bridges classic jungle foundations with a modern edge.

At the heart of Transition is FJ’s powerful vocal performance. A classically trained singer/songwriter, FJ first gained recognition fronting Brighton-based indie band Ocna, who received support from Clash and BBC. Since then, she has released music across multiple electronic styles, with tracks featured on Rinse FM, Kool FM and Data Transmission, and support from respected figures across the drum & bass community. Transition marks her first release of 2026, with more material scheduled throughout the year.
