FJ is a classically trained singer/songwriter who fronted the Brighton-based indie band Ocna until they sadly split. They were featured in Clash and BBC, amongst others. She now writes and sings in a wide range of genres. Her first single ‘The Sea Inside My Mind’ received positive feedback from LTJ Bukem, Benny V, Stunna, Influence Records, Mizeyesis, Richie Weaver, Sweetpea and more. She has worked with a variety of dnb producers and her songs have been featured on Rinse FM, Kool FM, DNB UK, BBC Introducing and Data Transmission, amongst others. Her third single with Nurve was released on Eleven One One and all the royalties raised were donated to men's mental health charities. She also collaborated with Sola, contributing to a charity dub pack.

FJ is also part of an original electronic duo, Apachelux, who take influence from artists such as Goldfrapp and Moloko. Throughout 2025, they recorded their first album with Grammy award-winning producer, Brett Shaw (Lady Gaga, Jess Glynne) and Danny Monk (The Kooks). The album was mastered at AIR Studios by John Webber (David Bowie, George Michael) and the first two singles came out in early 2026, with six more to be released during this year.

The start of 2026 brought liquid dnb releases with Miss Medik and DRUMMA on SoulTribe music and then with Pyxis on Grand Theft Audio. FJ loves collaborating with producers and has quite a few songs out in 2026. These include an EP with Skuff on the label Vibe City.
