Pattern Up Community Event Brings Positive Energy to Colchester

This weekend in Colchester, Project Lando hosted the inspiring Pattern Up community event — a gathering focused on defeating racism, encouraging young people to get involved in music and DJ culture, and providing a creative, positive alternative to street life.

The event was filled with incredible energy, positive vibes and, most importantly, some truly impressive young talent. It was inspiring to see so many young people engaging with music, learning new skills and expressing themselves through DJing and sound.

Representing Soultribe Music, Samuel Bleszynski attended the event and presented Project Lando with a special vinyl release featuring the track “Blow My Mind” — a collaborative project bringing together artists from across the scene, including Lady SadieAnn from Essex and H12 from the USA.

Following the presentation, the team also had the pleasure of meeting the fantastic Emisa Wakes, the talented singer and songwriter who attended the event. During the gathering, attendees were treated to an exclusive dubplate play of “Algorithm”, another Project Lando track featuring Emisa Wakes.

Events like Pattern Up show the powerful role music can play in bringing communities together, inspiring young people and creating opportunities through creativity and culture.
