DJ Shaggy DNB aka Shailet Patel; born and bred in Leicester, grown up listening to drum and bass from the heydays of early acid house. Dabbled in production and DJ'ing, played on KoolFM midlands, a number of clubs as well as being one of a group of DJs who set up ProSession in Bham Uni.

An avid DJ who has been hosting a weekly DNB Radio show on Mix3r Radio for close to 3 years which has slowly developed a cult following for the amazing tune selection, smooth mixes and covering all sub genres of DNB. Shaggy now also is hosting a bi weekly jumpup show on AlphaWave Radio (The Bangers and Smash show) as well as recently joining the Timeless Live mixes cru to host a monthly liquid, deep and atmospheric show called the 963hz show.

Shaggy over the last 12months has invested in his production skills by joining DNB Academy, getting mentoring from IYRE and slowly developing a style and sound of his own with modern production techniques applied leading to this banging EP on Soultribe Music.

This EP is all about the old school breaks heavy DNB that shaped the sound he loves, fat low end, hard drums and shuffly breaks for days!
